Housing Alternatives Acceptability Study

In 2008, SUDA issues the report of its Housing Alternatives Acceptability Study (HAAS), a survey of households in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) undertaken to examine the acceptability of a variety of housing forms; additionally, the study asked questions related to community, environment and public transit.  Among other findings of the survey, about 50% of householders reported that living in a 2-storey townhouse with a private backyard, or a condominium apartment suitably sized, would be 'acceptable' or 'may be acceptable'.
